The world we live in today is one of great uncertainty, to say the least. In an information age where there seems to be little restrictions on what is written or spoken about through the media.
We are all influenced by many aspects of journalism, and they too are influenced by their sources of ownership. Leaning either left or right depending on their personal political preferences and agendas.
Conspiracy theories abound on just about every topic that makes the news, and the more the merrier. I was interested to read an article the other day where it was stated that the term ‘Conspiracy Theory’ was created or invented to take the spotlight of those who supposedly assassinated president JF Kennedy.
Aimed at taking the focus away from what seemed an unbelievable action by the perpetrators and keep the focus on Lee Harvey Oswald. I personally do my best to not be influenced by outside opinions by staying away from news and media altogether and keeping my opinions to myself.
However, I am not here to talk about the state of journalism in the world today, but to reaffirm with some universal truth examples, what we already know to be true. To keep us focused on what is truly important in our search for the lives we all deserve.
The Wisdom That Follows Is Unshakable And Universal
Throughout all of history, the people considered to be the Greatest Wise People, Philosophers and Prophets have disagreed with one another on many different things. It is only on this one point that they are in complete and unanimous agreement.
That You Become What You Think About.
‘A Mans Life Is What His Thoughts Make Of It‘ said Marcus Aurelias The Great Roman Emperor.
‘Everything Comes If A Man Will Only Wait, I Have Bought Myself By Long Meditation To The Conviction That A Human Being With A Settled Purpose Must Accomplish It, And That Nothing Can Resist A Will That Will Stake Even Existence For Its Fulfillment’ said, Benjamin Disraeli former British Prime Minister.
‘A Man Is What He Thinks About All Day Long‘ said, Ralph Waldo Emerson, the Great American Poet and Philosopher.
‘The Greatest Discovery Of My Generation Is That Human Beings Can Alter Their Lives By Altering Their Attitudes Of Mind’ said, William James the Great American Philosopher and Psychologist.
We need only in cold blood act as if the thing in question were real and it will become infallibly real. By growing into such a connection to our life, that it will become real. So bind with habit and emotion so that your interest in it will be those that characterise belief.
If only you care enough for a result you will almost certainly attain it. If you wish to be rich you will be rich, if you wish to be learned you will be learned, if you wish to be good you will be good. Only then you must really wish these things and wish them exclusively and not wish at the same time a hundred other or so incompatible things just as strongly.
‘If Thou Can Believe, All Things Are Possible To Him That Believeth’ (Mark 9.23)
‘This Is One Of The Greatest Laws Of The Universe, My Greatest Knowledge Discovery. If You Think In Negative Terms You Will Get Negative Results, If You Think In Positive Terms You Will Achieve Positive Results. That Is The Simple Fact And Basis Of An Astonishing Law Of Prosperity And Success. Believe And Succeed’ said, Dr Norman Vincent Peale Famous American Author and Speaker
‘Our Doubts Are Traitors And Make Us Lose The Good We Oft Might Win By Failing To Attempt’ said William Shakespeare Famous Poet Writer And Actor.
‘People Are Always Blaming Their Circumstances For What They Are. I Don’t Believe In Circumstances. The People That Get On In This World Are People Who Get Up And Look For The Circumstances They Want, And If They Can’t Find Them Make Them’ said George Bernard Shaw Famous Irish Nobel Prize Winner.
From The Sermon On The Mount
Ask And It Shall Be Given You
Seek And Ye Shall Find
Knock And It Shall Be Opened Unto You
For Everyone That Asketh, Recieveth
And He That Seeketh Findeth
And To Him That Knocketh It Shall Be Opened
