Stay Focused and Work Hard!

  1. What a great article! I just recently decided to get back into the gym after a lengthy lay off, and it has been a tough start.
Some of the advice from the people you have highlighted here is really great stuff!
Do you have any other advice for staying focused and driven? Is there a plan to follow that help me reach a motivated and focused direction
    Thanks for the great read!

    1. Hi Brendon,

Nice to hear from you, and I too am just back into some exercise after a couple of weeks off. Hard not to be motivated by these guys, and researching them has been a pleasure and a real source of motivation for me to return to my exercise routine, and work even harder than before

The best advice I can give you is to get some specific goals and be very clear about the outcomes you are planning to achieve. Be aware of obstacles that will come up and have a plan in place to push you through any and all reasons to miss a day. You then need to have an overwhelming reason, a “why’ if you like that keeps you moving forward no matter what. I suggest that you refer to my previous post called GOAL SETTING MADE EASY for some cool advice on how to achieve every goal you set Stay Focused And Work Hard!

      All the very best Brendon

  2. Awesome post. This article is motivating and very inspiring. This is also very neat, clean, imagery is wondeful, and it is a pleasure to read through. The more you read on, the more amped and inspired you become..feeling ready to conquor the world. Really really nice. Thanks for providing such wonderful quotes and such a great boost of energy.

    1. Hello there,

So nice to hear from you and I am so happy to hear you are amped and ready to conquer the world. I have the utmost respect for all of them, and even though Greg Plitt has passed I still love going to his website and getting instant motivation on days I am struggling to begin a workout. I’d be interested which legend amped you the most and above all I hope you began or continued something that’s important to you today and use it for future inspiration

      Go get em girl

  3. I love your website design and this page is very inspirational. That gregg plitt guy is jacked and I’m sure a lot of guys want to look like him. Through building my own website, I see a lot of these quotes from people who are already successful as definitely true. I love the dwayne johnson quote ‘Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come’.

There is nothing more true than this

    1. Hello Josh

Nice to hear from you. Glad you enjoyed the read. You mentioned Greg Plitt and he is truly an inspiration to thousands of fitness enthusiasts around the world today, despite his passing more than two years ago. Man is he  shredded, the depth of his success is relative to his many critics which from the research I’ve done on either loved him or you hated him.You also spoke about the quotes you often see while doing your own research, and like you I enjoy being reminded so often that we are always stronger than we think we are. Dwayne ‘the rock’ Johnson is a great role model and when you know his schedule for his days , nobody works harder than him.

      Good stuff

All the very best to you Josh

  4. There is so much inspiration on this one page I could stay here all week. What a powerful collection of life changing examples from those who have proven that anything is possible with the right attitude.

Having watched the videos and reading, I am inspired to reach higher, work harder and think big.

    Thank you for such inspiration.

    1. Hi David

Thank you, I am so glad you enjoyed my page, nothing makes me happier than to help inspire someone else and possibly make that tiny but significant difference to a persons life. I feel truly blessed, and yes, these 4 men have proven, as you wrote that with the right attitude anything is possible.

      Truly My Pleasure I Promise

In your own words ‘Reach Higher, Work Harder, And Think BIG’

All the Very Best to You My Friend

  5. I found each of these 4 examples of successful people to be very inspiring! Consistent hard work is definitely what I believe leads to massive success!

The thing I find interesting and good to know is that most of these rules that these celebrities have listed are things that I have been staying consistent with, for over 6 months now.

I am not 100% sure if I heard or seen of Greg Pit, but I really like his quotes and rules of success. The 2 things that really catch my attention are that if you strongly believe it is going to happen, you will find a way to do so.

And the other thing is doing whatever it takes to start going. I find that often times, the hardest part of going through a challenge is starting it, but once you get rolling, it is not too hard to keep on going!

My question is, which quotes would you consider to be your favorite that you strongly believe in?

    1. Hello Arie,

Really glad to receive your comment and hear of your progress and obviously the guys have reinforced to you what you already know. The rules or laws of success are simple and straight forward but we must have the character, will and desire to be consistent and follow through

.Your ‘ Why’ has to be big enough to keep you going no matter what. That’s why goals are so important. Eric Thomas explains that if your ‘Whys’ don’t make you tearful when you think of them they are not strong enough ‘Whys’

I firmly agree with you and believe Action is the prerequisite to motivation not the other way around. Just turn up everyday and begin and you are already a winner

With regards to my favorite quotes, I handpicked them all and firmly believe that all of them work if put into practice and hard work.

These guys accomplishments speak for themselves and the truth of the matter is success leaves clues everytime.

      Just keep turning up

All the best to you champ

  6. Wow thanks, this is a very motivational post ! Truth be told, I’ve always wanted to work out and sort of get myself all muscled up. Sadly my last effort only lasted like 2 months haha. I think I need a bit of what David Goggins said, because when I reach my breaking point I just give up and quit, I know it was hard for these guys as well but they seem to have that driving force that keeps them going which is worthy of our respect.

    1. Hello Lucas,

It’s never to late my friend to start all over. You are like most of us in that the fire that burnt so brightly eventually gets extinguished. My suggestion would be to set some goals along with some very strong whys and reasons for their attainment. Combine these with realistic dates for completion. Read them daily and when you struggle put on some motivational videos prior. There is no better feeling than having completed a workout when you haven’t felt like doing it.

Remember the difference between success and failure is that you do the things you know need to be done even when you don’t feel like doing them!

All the very best my friend

  7. You have highlighted some very well-known fitness personalities that have each excelled in their own right and the books that you recommend for each are likely all good reads full of tips and ideas that the rest of us can use in our own quest to be the best we can be.

Of the celebrities covered, I relate most closely with the SEAL, David Goggins. I have a military background and know very well what he has gone through to get where he is. I have watched some of his motivational speeches, and I find him very inspirational, even at my advanced age of 63! I really enjoyed reading this article thanks for sharing!

    1. Hi Dave, Great to hear from a man who has served in the military and can really relate to the Goggins machine. I love listening to him speak as well, he is a perfect example of our ability to turn our lives around.

      Cheers mate

  8. I found your website to be very full of  great self empowering information not only being an athlete but also in every day life as well I believe anyone could truly benefit in one way or another from your content there are many great tips  and stories that if you applied this to your life would definitely help you achieve success thanks for all the wonderful information you have to offer i think your proving people with great insight on life in general

    1. hi Johnathon, I really appreciate your feedback and comments. It often brings a tear to my eye as I realise I can make a small difference to someone’s life and for that I am supremely grateful.
